Discuss/ Action to Create a 2 Acre lot on parcel 016-0514-2023-000, located off Old 26 Road and rezone from A-1 to A-3 for a building site
Don Foltz present to request parcel split and rezone of property.
Supervisor Brandenburg/Christensen motion to accept the request from Mr. Foltz. Motion carried.
Discuss/ Action Driveway issue on Old 26 Road
Property owner, John Steiner had proposed purchasing a portion of the town’s right of way for access to his newly purchased property off Old 26 Road. Don Foltz, adjacent neighbor created a buildable lot directly next to Mr. Steiner’s property and would need access. The Town Board denied purchase of the right of way and notification will be sent to Mr. Steiner.
Supervisor Christensen/Brandenburg motion to return to agenda order. Motion carried.
Approve meeting minutes from Dec 9th
Supervisor Hoffman/Hill motion to approve the minutes as presented, motion carried.
Treasurer’s Report
Supervisor Brandenburg/Christensen motion to place the December Treasurer’s Report on file, motion carried.
Discuss/Action Milton Fire Department contract
Discussion for alternative Fire and EMS Service to Milton residents. The Town is considering contracting with City of Fort Atkinson for Fire and EMS service to this area at an increased response time. This item will be on the February Agenda for decision.
Chair Burlingame asked for a letter to the residents of Oxbow Bend, Pottawatomi Trail and Blackhawk Bluff to discuss possible change to Fort Atkinson Fire and EMS protection.
Discuss/ Action Hausz Bros Blasting and Mining Permit renewal
Hausz Bros is asking for a renewal of their Blasting and Mining permit. No complaints have been received this past year.
Supervisor Brandenburg/Hoffman motion to approve permit renewal. Motion carried.
Discuss/Action Adopt 2021 Budget
Supervisor Hoffman/Brandenburg motion to approve 2021 budget. Motion carried.
Discuss/Action 2021 Fee Schedule
Supervisor Hill presented the Fee schedule from Oakland. Fees reviewed. Supervisor Brandenburg/Hoffman motion to approve Fee schedule. Motion carried.
Public Comment
Supervisor Christensen noted that the park is being utilized by the community and would like to thank Keith Marsden for grooming the trails in the park.
Chair Burlingame proposed the elimination of posting notices in the Jefferson Daily Union and use these funds to update website and social media accounts. This will be on a future agenda.
