Treasurer’s Report for September
Supervisor Brandenburg/Hoffman motion to place the September Treasurer’s report on file, motion carried.
Discuss/Action Kurt Chapman: Conditional Use permit request for physical therapy clinic at W6305 Hoard Rd. Mr. Chapman present to explain his request to allow a physical therapy clinic at this address. Approximately 6-8 clients per day. Supervisor Hill/Christensen motion to approve the request, motion caried.
Discuss/Action Bud Styer: Request to bore under the road at N357 Old 26 Rd for a septic system.
Mr. Styer present to explain his request to bore under Old 26 Road to install a 6-8-inch main septic line, 3-4 feet deep for a septic field across the road from the proposed campground expansion. This would not affect the roadway. Supervisor Hoffman/Brandenburg motion to approve the request, motion carried.
Discuss only Bud Styer: future campground expansion for Jellystone.
This was a discussion only item regarding a future expansion of the campground. A conditional use permit would be needed. Previous requests have been denied to keep as ag land per the Town’s comprehensive plan. Mr. Styer also asked about the possible use of golf carts on Wishing Well Lane to gain access to the golf course. Currently Town ordinances do not allow golf carts on town roads.
Discuss/Action Banker Road use
City Clerk Matt Trebatowski and Engineer Andy Selle present to explain future city expansion off of Banker Road. The city purchased land off Banker Road for development in 2021. Banker Road is currently a town road and would be the main road to the proposed development. The city will put together a proposal for the town to review regarding Banker Road.
Discuss/Action Milton Fire Department contract – Supervisor Brandenburg/Hoffman motion to table this item to allow Milton Fire Department to come to a meeting. Motion carried.
Budget Amendments to include 2019 carry forward, video service provider grant and land sale revenues, and 2020 expenditures.
$16,336, 2019 Carry over. Chairman Burlingame/Hoffman motion to designate $8000 to clerk’s wages and $8336 to future wages, motion carried.
Additional revenue for 2020: $4,095 Video Service Provider grant, $5,300 sale of town land for Hwy 12 project and $4,000 interest from liquidated CD = $13,395. The clerk requested additional funds be designated to the clerk/deputy clerk wages for 2020 to be carried over into 2021 and public works indicated tires will be need and the roller will need to be replaced. Chairman Burlingame/Hoffman motion to designate $5,000 to Hwy equipment maintenance/repair, $5,000 to clerk/deputy clerk wages and $3,000 to trees, motion carried.
Clerk’s Report
The clerk reported a conversation regarding building inspector regulations that would require the board to review. Supervisor Hill indicated he would look over the current contract. This issue will be on a future agenda.
Public Comment
Supervisor Hoffman reported on a zoning issue regarding a recent board action on a rezone request. This may require a review of the current town ordinance.
