Award road bids

Bid summary reviewed. Supervisors Hoffman/Hill motion to approve the bids from Payne & Dolan for $765,543.15 for the 2021 road projects. Motion carried.

Adjournment

Supervisor Brandenburg/Chairman Burlingame motioned to adjourn the meeting at 6:30pm. Motion carried.

Public Comments –None at this time Approve meeting minutes from April 20

Supervisors Hoffman/Brandenburg made motion to approve minutes as presented.

Treasurer’s Report for April

Report was explained by Clerk Woods, as Treasurer was not present.

Supervisors Brandenburg/Hoffman made motion to place April Treasurer’s report on file. Motion carried.

Discuss/Action End of year financial summary. (Johnson Block)

Brett Hoffmeister is present to review the 2018 year-end financial report.

Discuss/Action Intergovernmental Agreement with City of Fort Atkinson

City Manager,

Discuss/Action request for conditional use permit to allow for a dog kennel at N1260 County Road K.
Chris and Ashley Winkelman are present to request a conditional use permit for a dog kennel.

Supervisor Christensen requests that outdoor lighting ordinance be followed, shield neighbors from noise and to use native plants when adding vegetation to their facility.

Discuss/Action for a preliminary survey review to create an approximate 1.3-acre residential building site on parcel #016-0514-2813-000, located at N815 McIntyre Road and rezone from A-1 to A-3 for a building site.
Jon and Teresa Hartwig are present to request for a parcel split and rezone.

Supervisors Hoffman/Hill motioned to approve the Hartwig’s request. Motion carried.

New website reveals by David Frohmader

David Frohmader presented the new website, and went through its functionality.

Clerk’s report

Clerk Woods stated that the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds will be $373,655 and will be disbursed to the Town in two installments. The first installment should arrive in June and the second should be disbursed within 12 after receiving the first. Details on what these funds can be used for are still being decided by the US Administration. Johnson Block will help us determine what the ARPA funds available for. We need to create a Budget Line item for these funds.

The Board’s expense reports have been updated to reflect the approved hourly rate of $20.00. The Board of Review is next week, May 19, 2021 at the Town Hall from 6:30 – 8:30 pm. We received documents to apply for Jefferson County road aid.

Approve Bills

Supervisors Brandenburg/Christensen motioned to pay bills except for the City of Fort Atkinson. Board requests clarification of invoice for Fire Equipment. Motion carried.
