PUBLIC HEARING TOWN OF KOSHKONONG
Chairman Bill Burlingame called the Town of Koshkonong Public Hearing to order at 7;00 pm. The clerk verified the proper postings had been made.
The purpose of the public hearing was to allow public comment on the proposed 2021 Malt Beverage and Liquor License renewals. No residents in attendance. The chairman called for public comments three times. The public hearing was closed at 7:03 pm.

Chairman Bill Burlingame called the meeting of the Town Board of Koshkonong Township to order at 7:03 pm. The clerk verified the proper postings had been made.
Chairman Bill Burlingame, Supervisors Walt Christensen, Jim Brandenburg, Erik Hoffman, Matt Hill. Clerk Bridget Woods, Administrative Assistant Kim Cheney and Treasurer Caitlin Kincannon present.

Supervisors Hoffman/Hill made motion to approve the minutes as presented. Motion carried.
Treasurer’s Report for May
Supervisor’s Brandenburg/Hoffman made motion to approve May’s Treasurer report. Motion carried.
Award Road Bids
Bid Summary reviewed. Supervisors Christensen/Brandenburg made motion to approve the bid from Rock Roads for $315,8/10.65 for Poeppel and Cold Spring Road repairs. Vote: 4 yay, 1 nay
Approve Liquor License renewals
Supervisors Hill/Hoffman made motion to approve the renewal of the current liquor licenses, motion carried.
Discuss/Action Loan Resolution amendment
Supervisors Hoffman/Hill made motion to increase loan from $1.2 Million to $1.5 Million to include road repairs for Poeppel and Cold Spring Roads. Motion carried.
Discuss/Action Driveway ordinance amendment
Supervisors Hoffman/Hill made motion to amend the Driveway ordinance to reference the permit fee as per fee schedule. Motion carried. Clerk Woods will create an updated description for the ordinance to be reviewed at July meeting.
Discuss/Action Budget amendment to include ARPA funds
Supervisors Hill/Brandenburg made motion to add line in Budget for the ARPA (American Rescue Plan Act) funds. Motion carried.
Clerk’s report
Clerk Woods noted that the July meeting has been moved to July 21, in leu of Chairman Burlingame will not be available for the regularly scheduled meeting date of July 14.
Chairman Burlingame, Supervisor Brandenburg, Superintendent of Public Works, Dan Butz and Clerk Woods attended a meeting with Pond Hill Dairy to Discuss placement of piping along Star School Road.
ARPA funds application deadline is June 18. Funds need to be obligated by December 31, 2024 and used by December 31, 2026.

Supervisors Brandenburg/Christensen made motion to pay the bills. Motion carried.

Public Comment
Supervisor Christensen mentioned that Jefferson County is moving forward with the courthouse renovation/remodel.Chairman Burlingame spoke about the Safety Boat Patrol. They have been out on Lake Koshkonong monitoring safety of boaters.
