This meeting was broadcast and recorded by ZOOM, there were no attendees.

Chairperson Kim Cheney called the special meeting of the electors of the Town of Koshkonong
to order at 7:00pm. The purpose of this meeting is to adopt the 2023 town tax levy to be paid in
2024 pursuant to Section 60.10(1)(a) of the Wisconsin State Statues. The Clerk verified this
meeting notice was properly posted in 3 physical places, and in the Jefferson County Daily
Union on October 31, 2023.

The Clerk presented the proposed 2023 Tax Levy, payable in 2024, to the Board and present
electors. Details are as follows:

• $422,273 Original levy amount allowed by the state
  • $315,000 – 2021 loan for road work – last payment will be April 2026
  • $48,000 – 2023 loan for equipment purchase – 1st of 5 payments
  • $235,275 – 2023 operational loan – 1-time payment only
• + $598,275 Koshkonong levy increase for debt service
• $1,020,548 = proposed Town of Koshkonong tax levy

Supervisor Jaeckel made a motion to accept the proposed levy.
Motion seconded by Supervisor Hill.
No further discussion. All in favor. Motion carried.
