5. Approve meeting minutes from February 2025Supervisor Jaeckel motioned to put the February 2025 meeting minutes on file.Seconded by Supervisor Hoffman.No further discussion, all in favor. Motion carried.
6. January & February 2025 Treasurer’s ReportsTreasurer Alicia presented reports.Supervisor Brandenburg motioned to put the January & February 2025 Treasurer’s reports on file.Seconded by Supervisor Jaeckel.No further discussion, all in favor. Motion carried.
7. Discuss/Motion request by Trevor Knaack for a conditional use to allow for a 2000sqft, 21ft high extensive onsite storage structure in an R2 zone located at N1587 Knaack CtJeff Begovatz present on Trevor Knaack’s behalf. Explained structure would be for car and RVstorage. Setback from the lot line discussed, Board would like to see a 15ft setback. Drivewayaccess and runoff discussed.Supervisor Hoffman motioned to approve the request with a 15ft setback on the north side of thebuilding.Seconded by Supervisor Jaeckel.No further discussion, all in favor. Motion carried.
8. Discuss/Motion variance request by Duane Schultz to widen driveway to 34 feet at N890 Fairway DrDuane Schultz present. Public Works observed the driveway and does not see any issues with therequest. Supervisor Hoffman had concerns with consistency with approving these requests.Supervisor Jaeckel motioned to approve the driveway variance.Seconded by Supervisor Hill.No further discussion, all in favor. Motion carried.
9. Discuss/Motion 2025-26 season salt purchaseWe did not order any salt last season as we had plenty in stock. Board discussed potentialalternatives and considered quantities to order.Supervisor Jaeckel motioned to order 75-100 ton purchase for the next season.Seconded by Supervisor Hoffman.No further discussion. All in favor. Motion carried.
10. Discuss/Motion Clerk contract renewalDiscussion tabled to April.
11. Discuss/Motion employee attendance of WTA Road SchoolChairperson is interested in attending WTA 2025 Road School for Town Officials seminars,staying at the accommodations for 1 night.Supervisor Brandenburg motioned to approve the attendance of the Chairperson to attend the2025 WTA Road School.Seconded by Supervisor Hoffman.No further discussion, all in favor. 12. Discuss/Motion to reschedule April 9, 2025, meeting to Annual Meeting date of April 15, 2025Supervisor Hill motioned to reschedule the April Town Board meeting to the Annual Meetingdate of April 15, 2025.Seconded by Supervisor Jaeckel.No further discussion, all in favor. Motion carried.
13. Discuss future road workHackbarth and Old 26 Roads are being considered for road work as they are in poor condition.Engineering would be necessary for these roads; consultations will be sought. Curtis Mill,McIntyre, Cheeseborough, Grogan and North Shore also need work.
14. Public Works a. Report Report from Superintendent presented. Supervisor Hill wants to consider moving the radar speed limit sign further west, which is currently on Koshkonong Mounds Road. b. Projects • Board would like to see data collected from radar speed sign • Board would like to see additional quotes on the F550 repair • Update requested on tractor repairs

16. Clerk’s Report • Reminder to Chair and Supervisor Hoffman they will be attending the March 28 Board of Review training at the WTA District meeting in Whitewater at 841 Brewhouse • The February 18th election had a 9.5% turnout with 253 voters. • The Spring Election will be April 1st. Polls are open 7AM – 8AM and will be at the Town Shop. Early voting will be offered in the 2 weeks leading up to the Election, hours can be found on the Town website and Facebook page.

18. Public comment • Kim Chamberlain Kim asked when dog licenses are due: March 31st.
19. Board Member announcements • Supervisor Jaeckel advised Jefferson County has a new Administrator, Michael Luckey • Chairperson advised herself and the Clerk attended the public information meeting held by the City of Fort Atkinson on the S Main St path project. The Town is only committed to the engineering portion at this time. • Chairperson has volunteered to be on the County EMS Board, and is 1 of 3 Town Board Chairs on it. • Chairperson has granted permission for Motorcycle club’s request to close a portion of Vickerman Road and allow parking for a July 26 event spanning the weekend. The Club held the same event and made the same request in 2024, and the Board agreed there was no issues and have no concerns allowing it again.
