Chairperson Kim Cheney called the meeting of the Town Board of Koshkonong to order at 6 PM.

The clerk verified the proper postings had been made.
The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

Motion to convene into closed session. The Town Board will consider a motion to convene into closed session pursuant to the provisions of section 19.85(1)(c) of the Wisconsin State Statues for the purpose of employee reviews
Supervisor Jaeckel motioned to convene into closed session at 6 PM.
Seconded by Supervisor Hoffman.

Supervisor Jaeckel motioned to return to open session at 7:40PM.
Seconded by Supervisor Hoffman.

Motion if any action from closed session discussion
Supervisor Hill motioned to offer Lucas Buckingham the position of Public Works Supervisor at $30 an hour, effective August 17, 2025, with a 4-month probationary period, with a full job description to follow, with the option to default to the Crew Leader position within the probationary period at the rate of $27 an hour.
Seconded by Supervisor Hoffman.
No further discussion, all in favor. Motion carried.

Supervisor Jaeckel motioned to advertise for a Public Works Crewmember position at a range of $24-$27 an hour, depending on experience, CDL required, equipment proficiency preferred, on-call availability required, Town resident preferred or within a 30-minute emergency response time, with benefits package offered.
Seconded by Supervisor Hoffman.
No further discussion, all in favor. Motion carried.
