Chairperson Kim Cheney called the special meeting of the electors of the Town of Koshkonong to order at 7:00pm. The purpose of this meeting is to adopt the 2025 Town Tax Levy to be paid in 2026 pursuant to Section 60.10(1)(a) of the Wisconsin State Statues. The Clerk verified this meeting notice was properly posted in the Jefferson County Daily Union on October 28 & November 5, 2025, at the Town Hall and on the Town of Koshkonong website.

The Chair presented the proposed 2025 Tax Levy, payable in 2026, to the Board and present electors. Details are as follows:

    $431,229 Original levy amount allowed by the state
    $315,000 – 2021 loan for road work – last payment will be March 2026
     $48,000 – 2023 loan for equipment purchase – paid off in 2028
+ $363,000 Koshkonong levy increase for debt service
    $794,229 = proposed Town of Koshkonong 2025 tax levy

Supervisor Hoffman made a motion to accept the proposed levy.
Motion seconded by Supervisor Hill.
No further discussion. All in favor. Motion carried.
