Absentee Voting for the Town of Koshkonong

ABSENTEE VOTING FOR THE TOWN OF KOSHKONONG

Because of the COVID-19, voters in the Town of Koshkonong are highly encouraged to vote absentee for the April 7, 2020 Spring Election and Presidential Preference Primary.

The polls will be open on Tuesday April 7, 2020 7am to 8pm for those that wish to vote in person that day. Most voters should try to vote absentee prior to election day.

You are STRONGLY encouraged to request an absentee ballot by mail to avoid congregating in the clerk’s office. You can visit the Town of Koshkonong website at www.koshkonongwi.com and find the link to https://myvote.wi.gov to request an absentee ballot by mail. You will be required to upload your photo ID if you have not previously done so. You may also contact me at 920-563-4510 for questions regarding absentee voting or the Wisconsin Elections Commission at 1-866-868-3947. The deadline to request an absentee ballot by mail is Thursday April 2 at 5pm. However there is very little time for mailing at that point.

If you are unable to request an absentee ballot online you may vote In person absentee starting Wednesday March 18, 2020, 11am to 4pm and will be available on the following dates:

Wednesday & Thursday March 18 & 19……………………………….11am to 4pm

Monday, Wednesday & Thursday, March 23, 25 & 26…………..11am to 4pm

Monday, Wednesday & Thursday March 30 & April 1,2………..11am to 4pm

Friday April 3……………………………………………………………….12 noon to 5pm

If you choose to vote in-person absentee you may have to wait in-line, possibly outside for longer periods. You should also bring your own black ink pen. Please be prepared for these situations and proceed accordingly. Photo ID is required to vote absentee.

Your participation in the April 7, 2020 Spring Election is vital to your Town Board, County Board, School Board and state judicial systems. With thought and preparation we can provide an efficient and transparent election.
