The Town of Koshkonong annual meeting was not held at this time due to the current public health crises.
Chairman Bill Burlingame called the meeting of the Town Board of Koshkonong to order at 7:00pm. The clerk verified the proper postings had been made.
Chairman Bill Burlingame, Supervisors Jim Brandenburg, Walt Christensen, Erik Hoffman, Matt Hill and Clerk Kim Cheney present. There were no public attendees at this meeting due to the “Safer At Home” order.
Discuss/Action purchase of engine for park mower
Supervisor Christensen is working to fix the older mower for the park. He indicates it needs a new engine and the cost will be approximately $900, including oil etc. Burlingame/Brandenburg motion to approve up to $900 for the purchase of a new engine for the old park mower. Motion carried.
Discuss/Action 2020/2021 Salt contract
Per public works, approximately 200 ton currently on hand. Dan recommends 150 ton early fill, 125 ton seasonal fill and 25 ton on reserve. Brandenburg/Hoffman motion to approve the 2020/2021 salt contract for 300 ton as recommended. No further discussion, motion carried.
Discuss/Action re-schedule annual meeting and next month’s board meeting
Due to the public health emergency the annual meeting cannot be held prior to July 12. The following meetings had been scheduled: Wednesday May 13 (monthly board), Wednesday June 10 (monthly board), Wednesday July 22 (annual meeting & monthly board), Wednesday August 19 (monthly board).
