TOWN OF KOSHKONONG AS-NEEDED PUBLIC WORKS EMPLOYEE

The Town of Koshkonong is seeking applicants for an “As-Needed” position in the Public Works Department. This position is on an as-needed basis with some nights, weekends and holiday hours required. Qualified applicants are required to have a CDL driver’s license and an excellent driving record. Duties would include snow & ice control, maintenance responsibilities, mowing and tree trimming and other various public works activities. Hours would be varied dependent upon the need.

Requirements:

 1. CDL is required, and be able to perform safety inspection of the truck.
2. Clean driving record.
3. Ability to operate manual or automatic drive transmissions.
4. Knowledge of and perform minor truck maintenance.
5. Safety conscience.
6. Good judgment skills for distances and speed.
7. Working knowledge and skills used for mowing equipment and chainsaw.
8. Available as needed before/after normal working hours.

Wages to be determined based on qualifications.
