MEETING MINUTES Jan 27, 2021

Chairman Bill Burlingame called the meeting of the Town Board of Koshkonong to order at 6 pm. The clerk verified the proper postings had been made.

Chairman Bill Burlingame, Supervisors Jim Brandenburg, Walt Christensen, Erik Hoffman, Matt Hill, Clerk Kim Cheney and Interim Clerk Bridget Woods present.

Closed Session. The Town Board will consider a motion to convene into closed session pursuant to the provisions of section 19.83 (1) of the Wisconsin State Statues for the purpose of employee(s) reviews, employee considerations and employee compensations.

Supervisor Brandenburg/Christensen motion to convene into closed session and include the clerks and public works superintendent as needed. Motion carried.

Return to open session and action if any from closed session.

Supervisor Brandenburg/Hoffman motion to return to open session at 7:45 pm, motion carried. During discussion, Supervisor Hoffman/Christensen motioned to rescind the previous motion and to return to closed session. Motion carried.

Supervisor Hoffman/Brandenburg motion to return to open session at 8:40 pm. Motion carried. Supervisor Hoffman/Brandenburg motion to increase public works employee wages as follows:

Lucas Buckingham: $0.50 per hour now, and $0.50 additional per hour after obtaining CDL Class A and an additional 40 hours of vacation time.

Jeff Weidenhoeft: $0.50 per hour Dale Krasemann: $2.00 per hour Matt Welter: $2.00 per hour

Motion carried. Increases to be effective starting February 7, 2021. Announcements-none at this time.
Discuss/Action Future road work and financing

Discussion regarding a possible loan due to low interest rates for roadwork this year. Roads to be considered are: Pottawatomi Trail, Oxbow Bend, Blackhawk Bluff, Hoge, Kutz (so of 106), Star School (between CTH K and Poeppel), Kunz, and Curtis Mill. Public works superintendent will provide estimates. This will be on the February agenda.
