Chairperson Kim Cheney called the special meeting of the electors of the Town of Koshkonong
to order at 7:00pm. The purpose of this meeting is to adopt the 2024 town tax levy to be paid in
2025 pursuant to Section 60.10(1)(a) of the Wisconsin State Statues. The Clerk verified this
meeting notice was properly posted in the Jefferson County Daily Union on October 31, 2024, at
the Town Hall and on the Town of Koshkonong website.

The Clerk presented the proposed 2024 Tax Levy, payable in 2025, to the Board and present
electors. Details are as follows:

$426,504 Original levy amount allowed by the state
$315,000 – 2021 loan for road work – last payment will be April 2026
$48,000 – 2023 loan for equipment purchase – 2nd of 5 payments
+ $363,000 Koshkonong levy increase for debt service
$789,504 = proposed Town of Koshkonong 2024 tax levy

Supervisor Jaeckel made a motion to accept the proposed levy.
Motion seconded by Supervisor Hill.
No further discussion. All in favor. Motion carried.
