RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN BOARD TO AN ADD ADVISORY REFERENDUM TO THE BALLOT OF THE 2022 NOVEMBER GENERAL ELECTIONS REGARDING THE USE OF ALL-TERRAIN VEHICLES AND UTILITY TERRAIN VEHICLES ON TOWN ROADS

WHEREAS, certain residents of the Town have expressed interest in regulating All-Terrain Vehicles (“ATV”) and Utility Terrain Vehicles (“UTV”) on town roads; and,

WHEREAS, the Town Board desires to gauge public interest in the use of ATVs and UTVs on Town roads; and,

WHEREAS, the Town Board finds the best way to gauge public opinion regarding the use of ATVs and UTVs on Town roads is to add an advisory referendum question to the ballot for the 2022 November General Election.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Town Board of the Town of Koshkonong, Jefferson County, Wisconsin, as follows:

The Town Clerk shall submit the following advisory referendum question to the Wisconsin Elections Commission for placement in the Town’s ballots for the 2022 November General Election:

Should the use of All-Terrain Vehicles (“ATV”) and Utility Terrain Vehicles (“UTV”)
continue to be permitted on Town Roads?
