Chairman Bill Burlingame called the meeting of the Town Board of Koshkonong to order at 6:30pm. The clerk verified the proper postings had been made.

Chairman Bill Burlingame, Supervisors George Jaeckel, Stacy Kutz, Walt Christensen, Jim Brandenburg and Clerk Kim Cheney present.

Closed Session. The Town Board will consider a motion to convene into closed session pursuant to the provisions of section 19.83 (1) of the Wisconsin State Statues for the purpose of employee(s) reviews, employee considerations and employee compensations.

Supervisor Christensen/Jaeckel motion to move into closed session, motion carried.

Return to open session and action if any from closed session.

Supervisor Jaeckel/Kutz motion to return to open session, motion carried.

Supervisor Christensen/Jaeckel motion to raise public works employee Dan Butz hourly wage by 4%. Motion carried. Effective September 23, 2019.

Supervisor Jaeckel/Brandenburg motion to raise part-time employee Matt Welter to $18 per hour, motion carried. Effective September 23, 2019.

Discuss/Action WISLR road ratings due December 2019

County Highway engineer Brian Udovich can do the town’s road ratings and enter into the WISLR system. Supervisor Jaeckel/Brandenburg motion to hire Brian Udovich, not to exceed $700 to do the 2019 road ratings and WISLR entries, motion carried.

These agenda items were discussed as a group. Information presented on grant opportunities. Five year road plan discussed. Consultant Dan Anderson will be called to advised on roads to consider for grants (Hackbarth, Curtis Mill, Old 26).
